“The show has been made from a distance, I’ve never been to the space and I won’t see the show. The gallery is in a section of Justin’s house. I liked the idea of decorating his house for him using objects from the internet. I sent the resized jpegs to him and he was responsible for constructing and arranging the works. He had some say in how his house would be designed but I picked the objects that would be there. He suggested I make him a bannister for his stairwell, so this was a commission but everything else I selected for him.
The work is a redesign of his home, restricted to the areas designated as gallery space, made with images from the internet that he can then arrange with my consultation”
